Go to your cell provider an ask for an air card.

My laptop is set up so I can be online anywhere in the country. Unlimited minutes.

All I need is a cell phone tower signal. No wires no headaches.

Use whoever you want but I prefer Alltell.

My cell phone itself has nothing to do with my aircard. I get a broad band connection with no wires. If I want I can be surfing the web and talking on my cell phone. The two are independent of one another.

About 90.00 bucks to buy the card. $59.99 a month after that. Yes it is possible. I did not say it was cheap. SOme of the best money I've ever spent.

You talking cell phone or home phone line?

Because if you try breaking apart that telephone dial up line, you think dial up is slow now, wait till you try routing it.

If for cell phone connection, you have to determine if youre particular cell phone allows the cable conection to laptops. Some do, some dont, so before you go off and buy a card, make sure you wont have to also buy a new phone too.

A cell phone internet card will work like a prepaid phone, unless you have an unlimited arragnetment. But its not based on minutes allowed its based on your bandwidth.

Hope it helps
