it's very unique, i've never heard of using ty as a girl's name, and i really like avalon.

I'm not a huge fan of "Ty", but that is probably because I associate it with this really mean guy that I grew up with. "Avalon" is very pretty though. I think the two together sound very nice, even though I'm not a fan of "Ty".

Avalon if you must, but Ty is for boys. Please don't saddle a girl with a boys name or an outlandish name. You may like it, but they may hate it later.

I would find a more feminine first name. Personally, if I have another boy, his name would probably be Ty.
