well i passed a note to my friend nothing personal and it got caught now i have dentention, it's till 3:30!
whats dentention like?

I get TONS of detentions..... It usually go's by pretty quick since its a 30 minute detention. It also depends on the teachers style, some of them just make you sit quitely and others will make you do stuff like clean and help around. If you think a thirty minute is something.... wait until you get a 90 min

It's not a big deal. I've had about 3 detentions. Just becuase my old school had horrible teachers and these stupid checksheet things... Anyway, just take homework or a book and you can just read there. Most detentions teachers aren't that bad. It all depends on your school too...

dentention is not fun it is where u sit and be quiet an no talking. u usally have to study the whole time

wow i got m 1st detention on the 2nd day of high school and ive had 1 @ leest 2wice a week since :( i never turn up though :)

nicely, my advice is to easily take the lecture with out saying something. nod as quickly as they say "Do you realize me?" or "Are you listening?" etc... and not backtalk. Act like a domestic dog, take a seat quietly and seem unhappy no longer saying lots. whilst its over do no longer say something for no less than an hour. And say sorry to the instructor, merely be like "i'm sorry." this is going to likely be forgotten after each week or much less. do no longer make a huge deal. teach no concern. The lecture is the worst section. reliable success

well last year i got detention alot in 7th grade ummm well if you have alot of girls that hate your guts there can be alot of fighting... but if your just gunna go and sit there its ummm welll how do i say it BOARING! you cant talk sleep eat drink im not sure if you can even breath! detention sucks! i havent got introuble this year yet! sucks for you! good luck in detention!

I don't know.
I can honestly say I've never been to detention.
I've gotten in trouble, but never detention.
I think that's a little rough, considering it was just a note.

It sucks. You just sit there the entire time and can't leave until it's over. At least you can sleep.

I only had one detention in school...it was for talking. It wasn't too bad, I only had to clean chalkboards (which was kinda fun!). Detention isn't that bad really..at least not when I was in school.
