I am a white man and I do not think that Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson are the spokesmen for the African-American man today. These guys just know how to get their names in the press and do it every chance they get. I can't believe they are letting Michael Richards off with just an apology to your community. It seems his anger was a lot worse than Mel Gibson, who was drunk and being arrested when he went off. Kramer was working, sober and being PAID to rant! Let's really change the world and elect David Duke and Louis Farrakhan as CO-Presidents! That should shake things up. I think Farrakhan says a lot more for the African-American man than does Al or Jesse combined.

Of course not, they cant possibly speak for you because they aren't you, and you have different thoughts on things then they do, although they may be in the same area or contain some of the same context they aren't the same, not every black person wants things "preached" to them and not every one wants to be a Collin Powell ( i know hes not up there but for ex.) and be a Republican and be known for taking the "white-mans side" ppl are individuals black or white and though we may have one person who is known for "speaking" for us they aren't speciafically us and because only us (each individual) can know what we want and have to go about getting it ourselves

No, I don't have that perception. I think that Al & Jessie speak for a very select group of people that mostly includes themselves.

Have no fear...we white folk (at least those of us who use our brains) don't believe that they speak for you...Just like you must know that Rush doesn't speak for all of us.

Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt!

Well I am proud of you. I have wondered why SO many people of color take the attitude we do not want them to succeed.
A.S & J.J are very, RICH ,very far left politicians who continue to get rich, inciting people of color that they are being picked on and society is putting them down.
