anaerobic bacteria are organisms that doesnt require any oxygen, that is why its called an "anaerobic bacteria". one of the examples of anearobic bacteria is the neiserria gonorrhea, a sexually transmitted disease. in order to culture that bacteria, u have to let it grow in an environment that doesnt have any oxygen, but just the carbon dioxide.
