Because my last two bettas jump out and killed their selves.

yes they can jump out

you should put a plant in the top of the bowl and that will keep them from jumping out

Oh yes. My betta would jump out of the tank every chance he got. He could jump ridiculously high!

There are covers you can buy for tanks, or use some light netting if you have some.

They are known to be jumpers, which is why they recommend a canopy to cover your tank. Personally, i have only had my betta swim to the surface and shoot back down, spraying water with it's back fins, no jumping yet.

Yes- that is why you have to cover all tanks from fish jumping out & things falling into the tank, good luck.

Yes, absolutely! Pet stores and even WalMart sell small, plastic rectangular "tanks" that come with covers. You may want to try one of these, they can be lifesavers!

Yep! We had one jump out and I looked all over the place for the damn thing...before I discovered it was stuck to my foot!

hello if two have already jumped then why are you even asking?
its not that hard just go to walmart and get a cover. complicated isn't it?
