I want to get into harcore bands.
I listen to emo, but i want to listen to more harcore....suggestions?

I don't know what kind of hardcore you're looking for but there was a lot of good stuff from the 80s and 90s. Victory Records put out a lot of albums. There's bands like Strife, Snapcase, Earth Crisis, Deadguy, Gorilla Biscuits, SOD, Sick of It All, Madball, Agnostic Front, Cro-Mags, Sheer Terror, Murphy's Law, Negative Approach, Bad Brains, Minor Threat, Black Flag. Some of those are straight-edge bands, some are NY thug-core, some are hardcore-punk. There's also the whole D-beat crustcore genre with bands like Discharge, Wolfbrigade/Wolfpack, Skitsystem and Nasum.

I don't know maybe you could go to POSERS ARE US and look for a sale on wanna be rockers.!!!!!!! If that doesn't work, try listening to Slayer, Lamb Of God, Pantera, Cannibal Corpse, Slip Knot (personal friend of Cory Taylors), Gwar, Napalm Death, God Forsaken, Deicide, Fudge Tunnel, and so on. Go to your local CD store and check out the section. Ask a friend, or go to some shows and see what you like.

Cannibal corpse, Atreyu, Black Sabbath!!, Cradle of Filth, Otep, Opeth, Hatebreed, Lamb of God, Deicide thers a lot of them but these are some of the better 1s

You may have to be a bit more specific about "hardcore". Led Zeppelin is one you just can't go wrong with. Although, I am assuming you mean something more modern.

Try System....would people call them carecore? i dunno but System of a down rocks like heck.
Flyleaf is even better than those old guys.
Skillet is freakin' awesome since forever.

I'm a big fan of Atreyu. But there are soooo many others that are just as good, my advice is to check myspace.
