Contact lenses vs sport glasses?

Question

I'm 16 . I play basketball in a team and my problem is that I wear glasses. My question is : what is better to wear ? special sport glasses or contact lenses.

I play team basketball too and wear glasses. I tried a trial sport glasses pair from Wal-Mart and their extremely uncomftratable, not to mention unstyish so itried lenses. They have a time to get used too and getting them on but they're much better than sport glasses. Only problem is care for it, in a game once i was fouled hard, ran into the wall and my lenses cracked and it was extrmely painful and couldn't get back into the game. So in most cases contacts are much better but you just have to be extrmely careful with them and make sure they don't crack in your eye when you take them out (i have expirience, can be a pain, and ur eye turns red and ur can't open it until you rub the eye to take it out).

Contacts are more comfortable than sport glasses. I have used both. You'll have better field of vision with contacts. Only if you really can't get used to wearing contacts or are a spaz about using them, or have really really bad vision, would I suggest the sport glasses.

i think contact lenses. i know someone who had sport goggles and kept losing them so he got contacts. plus i think the contacts look better.

i play bball too and up till last year had glasses and they were always getting bumped and made dirty and now i have contacts and they r so much nicer
