It depends on where I am walking and what I am doing. I walk with my head looking up if I am going for a leisurely stroll and want to admire the clouds or stars. I look straight ahead when I need to get somewhere and fast and want adults to stay out of the way. I look down when I am around children because I am 5'11" and they are easy to miss. That and I am clumsy so I am always on the look out for an obstacle.

I always look straight ahead, almost like I own the world. Keeps people from getting in my way too. But I do take small peeks towards the ground once in a while to make sure I'm not about to fall flat on my nose after tripping over something.
