It depends which type of modelling you mean, There are many different types of modelling - glamour, swimwear/lingerie, billboard, fashion, catwalk.

I assume you mean fashion and catwalk, in which case you should be at least 5'8, minimum 5'7. But then kate moss is only 5'6, so there are no hard and fast rules!

You must also pay attention to detail such as hair and skin, and even little details such as eyebrows and nails. It's important to agents and prospective clients that you can talk to them easily, you are friendly and professional. hope this helps! x

There is not a specific height you must be, but 5' 9"-5' 11" is a common range. though most models are fit within this range, there are, still, some that are much taller, or much shorter. I believe one of the shortest supermodels out there is just under 5' 4'. Her name is Charlotte Dodds, and she is a very beautiful, and quite popular cover girl. Commercial Advertising: Depends on what they are looking for

Runway: 5'8" (size differs right now because they got so much slack for skinny girls)

Magazine layout: 5'7" is the lowest usually also no bigger than a size 4 for this one
