Conifer is a type of tree which has needles and produces cones. So I am guessing it is that green color (think Christmas trees or evergreen trees).

You are correct. A conifer is a cone-bearing tree such as a spruce. Sounds like a good color!

The name "conifer" comes from Latin and means "to bear cones". I would think various shades of green.

you are right. it is some kind of green. specifically the colour of pine trees not spruce trees, pine trees, which is a deep, flat sort of green, as opposed to the colour of spruce which has some blue in it as well.
