I saw on a comercial that there is a new laptop called the toughbook cause if you spill water or drop it on the ground it wont break. Is it good enough to buy? Answers are apperciated, thanks!

Yes, former roommate picked one up. He gave me a demo and threw it on the floor-nothing happened to it. I love using it because it has a touchscreen so you don't have to use the mousepad.

believe it or not, there are plenty of tough lab tops out there that can take a beating and still work. I think they are built with some kind of shock absorbing plastic, the problem is that some of them are very expensive. If you are really concerned, get an extended warranty. But if you can afford them, they are worth it.
