You basically can sue anyone for anything... it's up to the courts to see what happens. If you plan on divorcing him then you can stipulate that (in court) he had an affair and it caused you mental stress. If you don't plan on divorcing him then either live with the stress or use it to gain your marriage back. What you put into a marriage is what you get out of it is not always true. Some of us whom treasure our spouses and get nothing in return feel like we have done something wrong or have not done enough to earn our spouses love. Get that out of your head and remember it takes two to tango and unfortunately the other spouse suffers for it. Get your head on straight and tight and give him a run for his money.

Actually, in the state of Florida adultery is illegal and classified as a class 2 misdemeanor (I think). There may even be some jail time as a punishment. You just have to be able to prove it.

In some states and TX is one of them, you can sue for "alienation of affection", sounds crazy, but it can be done. The basis is that the other woman or man, took away any affection that was suppose to be yours.

I don't think so. Your spouse didn't stress you out.... YOU decided to be stressed out by what they did. You are the one who controls your emotions.
