well i've never done this but I'm guessing you can go to the music label's site (example- Reprise Records: http://www.repriserecords.com/) and possibly find an address or someone to talk to? however you probably want to start with small record labels, because the major ones get lots of demos and probably don't look at them all. try getting a local radio station to play some of your demos too, and tour! tour! tour! (well bands do, if you're a pop singer i don't know where to begin)

if i were you i'd send me demo to a lot of music labels, you can send them to large labels but you probably won't have much luck. try searching on the web and ask people at a local music store. sometimes they have a bulletin where you can post papers to get word out that you are looking for a record label and look if record labels have posted anything..... the trash can...haha...record companies need to see a following that would be willing to buy records before doing anything with an artist...use the demo, make a cd, sell it at the tons and tons of shows you should play....or I would send it to radio stations
