I would check if you can before you leave - you are going to get around £1.42p roughly here in the uk - depends where you are going in the uk - if you can get more than £1.50 in holland it may be worth getting it changed before you come
Depending on where you are in the uk Marks & Spencer normally have the best exchange rate or if not any travel shop will change them for you

Best thing is you to spend all 600 euros in Holland. If you are in Amsterdam, too, you will have additional interesting chances of having good business and ...fun! LoL

Get it exchanged in Holland at the GWK office , they have good exchange rates.

the exchange rates will be rubbish wherever you change it but on balance exchange it in the UK but try to shop around as the commission payable can be phenominally high

Change it at the GWK [ there's one in the airport ] of at a bank, don't take it to a shop, they'll rip you off!
