we have been at this for about 3 months now, he is ejaculating inside of me and i seem to not be getting pregnant. i have had one abortion and was on the depo sht once. is this normal? can that be a cause of me ot having any more kids?

Your profile says you are 15. Way too young to be thinking about getting pregnant. You also should have done some homework before having an abortion. That could do permanent damage.

Go see your doctor. After coming off BC it takes several months to a year for all of your hormones to go back to normal. You can also get an ovulation kit to learn when the best time to try is. You should know that sperm lives inside a woman for 2-4 days after it's deposited. I've always heard that if you're trying to get pregnant that you should only have sex every few days. Most of all you should see you OB/GYN and talk it over with the Doc. Good Luck

It can take up to a year to begin ovulating again after you go off the Depo shot.
Sometimes abortions can cause permanent damage to a woman's reproductive system, so you should probably go to the doctor and get checked out.
However, three months isn't all that long to have been trying.

Sometimes when you get off of birth control it takes your body time to start ovulating regularly. My advice is to get an ovulation kit, and have intercourse when you are ovulating. Do this for about 6 months (gotta give it time), if you are still not prego, you both should get checked for fertility. There is always a slight possibility that an abortion can cause this, but it is very rare. I had an abortion when I very young, and my worst nightmare was to not have kids, but now I have a beautiful daughter. Don't worry just give it a little more time.

You have 2 choices from my experience:
Keep trying. It took my wife and I 9 months to get pregnant with out first 2 children.
or
Quit "Trying". It only took one accident for us to come up with our 3rd.
The doctor told us, count 7 days from the beginning of your cycle then have sex every other day for 10days. And you have to tell your boyfriend to stop with the late night Internet porn.

So, you are 15 and WANT to be a mom with you 15 year old clueless BOYfriend? Shouldn't you be working at getting a stable job so you can support this kid? I don't want to reach in my pocket for your baby's expenses.

It took me nearly 3 yrs. to get pg with 3rd child. Turns out my thyroid was out of wack. Other than that it's just a matter of timing.

just be patient, it took me a year to concieve, just relax and dont think about it. Try lying down after sex for at least 15 minutes that helps too.Good luck!
