Most simply, protons (positively charged particles with significant mass), neutrons (non-charged particles with mass roughly equivalent to that of protons), and electrons (negatively-charged particles with virtually no mass). There are also quark, leptons, and neutrinos, but you probably don't want to get that deep right now.
