Do you have the ability to pay for that type of school? They can be awfully expensive. Have you talked to your parents about what their objections are? Do you actually have a school you want to attend, or are you just in love with the idea of a boarding school?

It's important that you know exactly what you want, and have a plan to pay for it and everything when you talk to your parents. Pick a school. Find out their requirements and their tuition, etc. Make sure that you are qualified to get in and that you have the ability to pay (i.e. scholarship or something). Also come up with the reasons you want to go to that particular school. Have a plan.

Well, if they can't afford it, don't force them. Would you rather spend a fortune on high school and have no money left for college? There's not always a big difference between public and private schools. It's just that the school looks more glamorous because so much money is being put into it. Your education is what you make of it. Good luck.

Private HIGH SCHOOL is often a waste of money. You can excel just as much in a decent/good public school if you try to.
