Where did the old saying all men (and women) are created equal go? Have we forgotten something? Do you want the government to tell you who you can and can not marry? Each to their own!!!!
Funny how we can meet and marry inmates (locked down) but not the same sex...uuummmmmm.....

I think that is a great thing that lesbian should have the right to marry. That just means more people can marry who the love. And do not liten to people that say no. If you love someone you should marry.(if that is 4 you)

Yes. Whatever makes two people happy together is good. In those states that have legalized gay marriage the divorce rate amongst gays is less than 1/3 of hetrosexuals. Fact. Look it up. Maybe they know something about what makes a relationship work that many hetro couples just don't get.

I think it would be a good thing to allow gay women (and men!) to marry each other.
The goverment has no right what so ever to tell me who I can and cannot marry so long as the other person(s) is/are consenting adults.

What do you mean by ‘marry’?
Consume the marriage? They Certainly do, and it is ok.
Acquire legal justification? I hope they can. It’s about time.
Live together in dignity? Without prying neighbors? Well, yes, it”s no one else’s business if they do.
Yes, I think it is a good thing if they have the right to marry!
(I am male, 58, married, two daughters)

What do you mean? Lesbians in almost all states have no more legal right to marry than gay men.

my girlfriend and I will be celebrating our 17th anniversary soon. Although we are very happy just the way we are, I would love to marry her.
I thought this country was created as a free country ... where did we get lost along the way? We are supposed to have free religion in this country. But we can't pray in schools. And in the Bible it says a man must lay down with a woman ... the liberals turn to religion when its convenient for them. There is too much hypocrisy.

Absolutely! There is no legal basis for the denial of homosexual marraige;only religious predjudice on the part of our more conservative politicians perpetuates it. Maybe now that the democrats have swept the house and senate lesbians and gays will FINALLY be allowed their right! They deserve it.

I think it's clearly a good thing to be able to have your relationship with another person officially recognised in the eyes of the law should that be what you want, no matter what gender that person is.
