There is a hole in the trunk for a spare, but one isn't provided. Before I call my MB sales guy, grateful if someone can enlighten me. Thanks.

It is underneath the carpet shaped like a tire. After pulling up the false floor, you will see a carpeted bowl-like area, it is under that.

If it does it is a space saver if not it will have a (fix a flat can and a electric pump) the best place to find this info. would be by the dealer or in the hand book or just go to a dealer and look.....

these cars are now being equiped with DYI info and tools, it is not the manufactures job not must he / she provied a spair tire...

look at the new VW niddel size van bus ect.. there is no spear....

Yes it does. Check in the trunk. It should also be a full size spare.
MB usually doesn't skimp on the spare tire

It should be there, as it is actually required by law, to provide some safety equipment in case of a failure, to help you get your car mobile, a getting it repaired.
