No, no, no, no, no. It is staged and contrived. There are some real emotions and actions in there somewhere, but mostly they're exaggerated to make it interesting.
For example, Laguna Beach tapes on Thursday through Sunday and asks the people to have certain conversations on those days so they can be caught on tape.

i dont know pimp my ride always seems kind of fake to me and the dating shows kind of do too, but obvioiusly if someone goes on a show like flavor of love theyre gonna ant drama
