I will be 18 weeks pregnant on December 2nd. I started out at 117 and currently I am at 128. Do you believe I have gained too much weight? Is 11 pounds too much? My 2 year old was 8 pounds 8ozs. Do smaller women gain weight faster? I don't believe I am overeating. I am just wondering.

you gain much faster with a second pregnancy because your uterus has already been stretched so it makes you show a lot sooner. hey stop worrying being pregnant is the only time nobody can call you fat!!! enjoy your pregnancy if you are young things will go back after the pregnancy remember you could be holding a lot more water and that could be water weight. if you gain too much in a small amount of time your doctor may put you on a restricted sodium diet. have your blood pressure checked also if all of that is OK then I stay stop worrying about the weight gain you will be just fine. Good luck with the pregnancy.

If you are active and eating healthy, your body will gain as much as it needs to. This may vary from pregnancy to pregnancy. Most OBGYN's agree that if you are starting at a healthy weight (as you seem to be), the average woman gains between 20-30 lbs.

Don't obsess too much about your weight gain, what's most important is the health of you and your baby... I am sure you look great!

That's only 11 pounds so you are fine. If you are concerned about gaining too much weight try to cut out any junk food and eat more raw foods (Fresh instead of processed foods), and when weather permits, go for walks.

You usually gain a little more weight with each pregnancy. 11 pounds is not too much!! Don't worry about it! ENJOY the cravings!! and congratulations!! :)

No, not too much weight. Its the big women who don't gain any weight. They don't need to. Some you can't even tell that they are pregnant.

Don't be surprised if you get up to 170 when you deliver. (I did)

All women are different. There is no ideal weight gain during pregnancy. Your doctor will warn you if he/she feels, you are gaining too much too fast. Good luck

i don't think so. a person your weight should gain around 40 pounds total. you're nearly to the halfway mark and no where near 40 lbs heavier. i think you'll be fine.
