I'm 12 weeks pregnant and I don't see my doctor until next week. Because of my horrible insurance policy I have a $1000 deductible so before I could see my doctor I have to come up with $200 of it. It has taken me this long to come up with an extra $200 so now I can finally see my doc. Did I lose out on any important time constraints to see my doc? I will be in my 2nd trimester before I see him next week.

While you should get to the doc's ASAP I think you should be OK. I have trouble with my insurance and my meds so I understand that problem. But I'm not pregnant. I think you'll be fine. I wish you all the best and a happy baby! Sounds like you're going to be a great mommy!

I wouldn't worry about it too much. The sooner the better but as long as you see your doctor that's what counts and the early weeks of pregnancy are the most detrimental bc that's when all the major organs are forming so go see that doctor!Congrats on your pregnancy!

You may have missed out on the vitamins that they give you for the first stages but its not too late to play catchup. You really need to go as soon as you are able to so that you and the baby get the proper care needed.

Nah. You're completely fine. Lots of people don't see their doctor until their second trimester. Congrats on the pregnancy and I'm sorry your insurance sucks so much.

There isn't much you can do about it now. From this point forward make sure not to miss any appointments. Your baby deserves the best possible start.
