Would you make fun of a person who walks funny?
Why do some people walk funny? My neighbor, he's younger than me and walks funny, I notice ppl laugh at him at school and talk bout him, he's really cool, but these ppl seem not to care, how can I help my friend?
I invite him to parties and he's so embarrased bout the way he walks that he hardly ever goes out, I feel bad for him, I wanna help him!

believe it or not, even though he may act like he doesn't want to associate with you, just you asking him over makes a BIG difference. you're doing the right thing by not laughing with the other people.. making jokes about him.. judging him by looks alone.. it means you have compassion & have a heart.
im not religous but the saying: "GOD doesnt like ugly" comes to mind.
keep inviting him.. tell others what you think of him, & never listen to the bad that people say about him... as long as you know what theyre saying is not right; than thats all that matters.
just make sure that the guy KNOWS what you think & that you are serious about your feelings.

Seriously, come on. How bad can he possibly be?! Unless he has a physical deformity or injury or something. If that's the case, people who would make fun of him totally SUCK, & you should tell him that.
If u think he's seriously depressed, spend time w/ him. Listen & let him vent. Rent some hilarious movies so he can laugh & take his mind off his problems for a while. But if he's really bad off, recommend that his parents find him a good therapist to talk to. Some depression really requires professional help. Tell him to hang in there, & that true friends don't laugh @ you.

Then walk like him.Not to mock him but to show him hey it's OK we all are different in our own way.But we all are the same in 1 way.We all bleed red blood.Stand up for him and let him know that no matter what you love him and that he is great no matter what he thinks of himself or others think.Carma is bad and i would hate to be the one laughing at him.Please go here and let him read this.It is long but it shows you just how important you are in Gods eyes and when it comes down to it that is all that matters.And if you get allot of good response let him read all the answers on here.I do not know you or him but i am saying a special prayer right now for you both. ok,your friend realy needs some one to talk to,i kow he needs just to be talked to an encurage him to your partys because it hurts when your left out sometimes...just please take this advice ...an maybe u can tell those people thats laffing and talking about to shut they'r traps or you'll gonna beat all over where im at an then ill beat them till they wished they nevered laffed b4....ok that sounded a little way too mean but they're the ones being mean soo...an if u need more help u can pm me fancynewyorker@yahoo.com..........most of all talk to him first then yell at those big fat meenys an just treat your friend like he's a normal person ok....your a good friend

Just be there for him, that’s the best way.
Show him that you accept him the way he is, don’t try to help (reform) him.
If it’s really a bad depression, he certainly needs professional help (therapy, possibly medication etc).
What you can give him is understanding and, above all, patience.

If you like your neighbor keep inviting him out until he goes. Then your friends can discover in him the things that you like about him.

let him know that you're there for him, tell him that he's your mate and you would miss his company if he wouldn;t go, you could also say that you might call to his house for a change if he's so embarrssed to go out

bake him some Cookies or buy him pizza, do not talk to him just listen to him
