I tried converting a song to mp3 format, but the file i converted was the same size as it was when it was wma format... 5MB..

compress them. use sound forge 7.0 or later. if you dont have one, try downlaoding it. you can crop music files with that. it really works.

Try Music Match player I think it has those capabilities of conversions from wma to mp3 look on the burner Menu

you can use a converter to convert the song. erightsoft super is a tool that lets you do that. keep the bit rate low, lower the bit rate smaller the file. The catch is that loweing the bit rate also reduces the quality of the music. keep the bit rate at 128 at the minimum, you can experiment with different bit rates to find the difference.

wma records are domicile windows equivalent to mp3 records. yet they are around an identical length yet cant be performed in itunes. acc records are plenty smaller and could be performed in itunes. get carry of itunes from the apple web site and you will convert your wma records to acc in case you play around with the recommendations
