I take Yasmin and my gyn told me that a week is sufficient for it to take effect.

I've been off and on of this pill .... and every time i always give it about a month.... to take FULL effect.

I was told when on it its works immeadiatly - so had my friends!! But to be on the safe side I'd leave it at least a week!!

Its says on the leaflet to take it on the first day of your period, you will be protected at once.
