I usually workout for like 45-60 minutes using an elliptical machine. I always keep my heartrate below 160bpm. But I've noticed that my baby moves less after I workout, is this normal?? He always moves a lot more when I don't workout.

I think it is normal for the baby to move less and less as you get closer to term. But if your concerned in any way consult your doctor. You are probably going in for checkups pretty close together right now, like every week? Sorry its been 8 years since my youngest was born. But your doctor can check the heartbeat and if your having any abnormal symptoms report it right away. Your baby is growing and there is less room for it to move around. But I remember when i layed down mine where always more active, when your up and about its like a rocking sensation that puts them to sleep (why babies like to be rocked). So just relax, have a snack. And lay down for a while, keep track of all its movements from the first movement you feel for an hour after, And ask your doctor. I looked for other questions like yours and the answers where the same as what i was thinking..

I agree with everyone else that you're rocking him to sleep during your workouts. This is a pretty good indication that you will be able to get him to sleep by rocking after he's born!

Sounds like all your movement is putting the little guy to sleep. I always noticed my son would have gymberree time when I wanted to go to sleep. The consistent movement during the day would put him to sleep. so chances are all the rocking thats going on is lulling him to sleep.

you may have rocked her to sleep. My baby really only moves a lot when I am sitting down. If I walk she doesn't really move much.
