I do not know if it is legal or not. What I do know is that my grandchild plays football and I am not allowed to take photos of her playing unless I have permission from all the other parents. I think this is such a load of nonsense as one day when she is grown up she will want to know why we have no photos of her playing. I have photos of her parents when they were young doing sport and I have photos of myself.

In a public place, no. I take photos all the time recording local history and can not avoid people being in them. Just think if you had to ask the permission of everyone in the street first!

Taking photos up women's skirts would be unlawful however!

Depends on where your photo is

If it is on the internet and not Copyrighted, then ehhhh you can really bend the rules on it. However, if they impersonate you, and they are doing illegal things, or back downing your name, then yes it is illegal. Its called Fraud.

If the photo was in your home, like an actual picture in your house, and they got it, it would be considered breaking and entering, which really is a misdeamonar crime. If the monemontary lost of the whole blurglary is under 125Euro's in the UK, then it is a MD.

Technically speaking, if someone gets ahold of your picture, then you could in some ways say its illegal . Yes

There's the data protection act thing, but if you're in a public place I don't think that if somebody takes a picture of you, he would be braking the law unless this photo is published.
But again it's a very complicated matter because does speed cameras complie with this act ??

Yes. Unless you are famous. My little bro does it to me a lot. Just threaten to call the cops. It usually works.

Yes, its a violation of your privacy, that's why in some TV footage, faces will be blurred out.
