when your angry how should you stay calm... because i can get very angry very quicky and i'sd like to prevent myself from going balistic...

It might sound old-fashioned, but counting backwards from 10 really helps me. While I'm counting, I'm consciously bringing my anger down from a 10 to a 1. Hope that helps! Oh, and drinking water. Water does wonders!

I don't know why so many of you ppl are thinking he's being unreasonable because this girl keeps wanting to grab his private parts. I think any guy would have a good reason to feel nervous under this situation. Anybody who would do that may also be possible of inflicting some pain or even harm. And speaking as a woman, I've been grabbed by guys and I never did enjoy that! Even attempts at grabbing make me nervous, too. Just tell her in no uncertain terms that she needs to BACK OFF! If she's persistant, remind her that there's laws regarding sexual harrassment, sexual assault, etc. If you guys would stand up for yourselves once in a while, things would go much better for you. What's good for the goose is good for the gander & what's good for the gander is good for the goose.

I'm a very passionate person also. I went to a therapist for it only one visit and I was fixed! lol....I just put a rubber band on my wrist and when I wanted to clock I would snap it. That pain would calm me down quick. I'll tell ya I couldn't hold a job before I knew about the rubber band. But after awhile I didn't need it. It is like conditioning. Good Luck and don't forget to BREATH.

Just evaluate the situation, if it's something that is not going to change by you getting angry, or if you know you will make a fool out of yourself by your anger, sometimes this helps. Oh, lots of red wine too.

Friend - I stay away from society and culture - religion in Yahoo Answers, lol. No, seriously, I use relaxation techniques such as relaxation breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, visualization, exercise and various other calming activities. GBYou

stop talking.take a deeeeeep breath,sit down if u can.also counting backwards.this will calm u down,breathing excersises are very good,but to be done daily,that way we learn to taking it easy and think well instead of getting angry.

why not go balistic, u will become calm more guickly and easyer by isolating yourself (so u wont hurt someone) and start throwing things and punching , and screaming etc... :D

Walking away. Sometimes running until I run out of breath then falling down and breathing. But most importantly- MUSIC. I'd die without it.
