get a hair dryer and turn it on the highest setting soften the glue up and remove it with a hair brush

Heat will remelt the glue & make a mess. If the tray will not fit in a freezert try ice. Chip it off w/ a hard plastic scraper while it is cold. If you can get under it , It should come off in one poece.

This one you may end up cutting the tips of the carpet off to remove the stain.

Would def try the iron trick with some grease proof paper. Just watch the bottom of your iron! Or, depending on the carpet can you snip it out with nail scissors?

never done it but try this, an iron and a brown paper bag - shoul dsoak it up when it melts
