Fergalicious is a sad song. It's sad that someone would actually put a crappy song like that on a cd.

"Cease" by American Lesion (this is the surname of Greg Graffin, the singer of Bad Religion. He made a solo CD in the mid 90s under this name, and it featured a piano ballad version of "Cease," which was also a Bad Religion song.)

Some other good ones:

"Confessions" by Violent Femmes
"Run" by Snow Patrol
"Perfect Day" by Lou Reed

"Just A Thought" by Gnarls Barkley
"Only In Dreams" by Weezer
"Everybody Hurts" by R.E.M.
"Creep" by Radiohead
"The Cold Part" by Modest Mouse

I really like Under the Bridge by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's not a traditional sad song, but it always touches me.
I also like this song by Chris Isaac. It's got "crying" in the title.
