I always thought it meant not wanting to get older, to just keep living as if you're the same age, living the same memories...it's kinda sad song if you listen to the lyrics.

Trying to stay young................trying to hold back the fears, tears....and everything.
This used to happen at 50....and it caused the "mid life crisis". Now that happens about 65 or 70...until then.........
