i want to get her something cool not clothes or anything like that. shes kind of like a big sister, my whole family is real close.

something for her ... not the baby ... maybe a gift cerfticate to the movies w/ a "free babysit" card ... or how about something from a bath & body works store .. something that smells nice ... or maybe a nice pair of earrings ...

What about a nice photo album, they have so many different kinds nowadays, like the ones with a frame for the cover. Or maybe a scrapbook kit for recording memories of the baby.

Buy her a baby photo album. That way the gift can be for her and the baby. She can insert pictures of her, the baby and other family members as well. She will keep it forever I'm sure. I think that would be a great, special gift.

some thing for only her. a lovely bath/shower gel. a get away ticket, to be used when she needs to get away for a few hours and needs some one to look after baby(this one only if you feel comfortable with it,) or offer to pay for a trusted baby sitter for her to get away, but make it some thing only She might use. you have a computer make up a very fancy ticket for her to redeem

Go buy a uncirculated coin of the year she had her baby.I do this to all my friends and they love it.I usually get a silver dollar or a proof set of all the coins
