Yesterday me my cousin and her boyfriend (who is black) took the train downtown. I sat a few seats from them while my cousin and her boyfriend sat together talking. People on the train were looking at them and getting mad, some were even mumbling insults. I mean why.

I guess it's for the same reason I've seen some white people get mad when they see interracial couples. Some people are really lame.

I just asked a similar question last night. This does not bother me at all. Date who you want and if they are of another race, then more power to you. I dont have time to waste and be jealous about the race difference in another couple. Maybe they should focus on strengthening their self-steem issues or more important issues and problems in the world. But you really shouldnt generalize like that, people will have a problem with you when you lump everyone in the same boat.

Please do not generalize all of us.

I am black, and I don't care who a black man dates (unless that is my man she is with). There are millions of us who don't care.

There are white ppl who don't like whites to date blacks, which caused alot of lynching back in the day. Wasn't there a couple who kidnapped their daughter to make her have an abortion because the baby daddy was black? Yet I realize that not all whites feel that way.

Tell your cousin not to worry about what ppl think or mumble. You only go around once and if he makes her happy, go for it.
