LOL...I mean some of you said you are really good liars and lie all the time (re my previous question) so do you think people catch on to you and catch you in your own lies?

Sadly I find that children lie because they are afraid of getting into trouble...some are just always in trouble no matter what...but I try to discourage them from lying....causing/being in trouble and lying just seem to go hand in hand...eventually if unchecked I think it gets to be a way of life...where a person doesn't know how to be any other way. Don't know how to help someone like that. Of course there are just the very wicked and manipulative type of liars too...when you are an adult it's almost criminal to lie isn't it? And often it ruins everything from relationships to jobs.

lying is like having a baby girl and boy elephant. they get bigger and harder to hide or cover up....
and then they start having babies, which grow up and have babies, and so on.
now you have move these elephants all over the place to hide them and cover them up.
what ends up happening is they get too big to cover, or you forgot where you moved them....
only for someone else to find them...

Females are infamous for this. They have minds like a goddamn steel trap. plus...liars lie in detail. For instance...a husband can never say "I stopped off at O'Malley's for a beer after work". Nope...it's always "I left work and went home on Smith Street instead of the highway because I thought I'd stop at O'Malley's for a beer. When I got there I saw Johnny jones and we played a couple of games of pool and blah, blah, blah". You see...the more details the more convincing a liar thinks it makes the story sound. Believe me..I've had years of picking apart stories told by liars. I get 'em every time too. The best part is watching them backpeddle. Heh, heh...too late...got ya!

I had a boyfriend that was a pathalogical liar......... there were often times whenI would double think what he told me but would simply say - he wouldn't lie about that. HA!!!!! He'd lie about ANYTHING!!! I think our susceptability to their lies is directly linked to how in over our head/hearts we are with them. Many of us KNOW the lie - we simply refuse to address them.

And yes - you can weave a web so complicated you get yourself stuck!!

Once the lies become so numerous, the liar will eventually forget what what he or she said previously. Eventually, the lies will become blatantly apparent!

I will just make one correction to your question.
If i was an awesome liar, i would had been damn good in keeping my lies in my mind. If i got caught as i didnt recalled what i had lied, i think you wont label me as awesome liar.

A good liar will never get caught. I have never gotten caught.
