Apparently you do need help, if you think you need to or can "control" anyone.

First off Stop trying to control men. I am sure that you would not put up with a man trying to control you. The better option is to find a man who is how you want him. Then don't try to make him into a woman. Realize that the differences between men and women are more than physical. Men think different than we do, they act differnt than we do. I don't know what you are trying to change in him, but it just may not be possible. If you want a shopping buddy, then that is why we have girlfriends and sisters. If you need some one to talk about your soap to, then again girlfriends. Don't expect him to care that the curtains match the comforter, or that your favorite couple from your Soap broke up, or that there is a sale at Macy's, Most guys don't care about that, and we can't make them. Men like things that we don't get. As long as they aren't acting like jerks, then why do we try to change them? If they are acting like jerks, then why do we keep them around?
Bottom line, find someone who has all the qualities you want, then love him for who he is. If you can't find that man, then either you are looking in the wrong place, or your standards are too high.

Well as a married man I can tell you, your question is terribly wrong. Well in a ideal relationship one does not control the other partner. You dont want to marry a dog on a leash dont you? Cause for any reason the leash is lost the dog's going to wander around.
So let him control you in every way and definitely he is going to be in your control. Seriously Try It!

boy do you ever need help. put the shoe on the other foot, How would you like to be controlled? Resistance if the first word that comes to my mind, and the only person you can control is you.You need to look at your ideas before you get involved with any men

Control men from drooling over you, get them to do what you want, or what?
I don't know if you can generalize. The way you'd take control of one man may not work with other men.

Think about it like this, would YOU want to be controlled? I don't think so. Controling people is the first step in becoming abusive, and yes, women can be abusive. If you don't like your man the way he is, then break up with him.

As I said elsewhere, if you treat your husband with love, respect, admiration, affection and give him hot food and sex, he'll be a loyal devoted man forever. Men are so easy to control when they're kept happy.

You can't control anyone but yourself. Give up, and don't waste your time. But cause if whomever starts to realize what you are doing or trying to do best believe they will leave you.

It is impossible to hold sand in closed palm and if you will spread your palm then sand will remain on it,therefore dont try to control men otherwise you will lose him.

You cannot control anyones actions but your own. If you are trying to control another persons actions you will eventually loose that person as a friend, loose their trust, and they will end up disliking you.
