dumb question, we hung a horseshoe over the door when we bought our home 9 years ago, we have sold & are eventually going to build, do we take the horseshoe with us or leave it for the new owners????

I would take it, it is your good luck charm. The new owners might just toss it anyway.

Take the horseshoe. It is yours, and holds all of your good luck. I took mine from the old house, and added a second one to our new home.

take it with you as this will allow the continuation of good luck. please place horseshoe with the points up so the luck doesn't run out -- ever. hope you enjoy your new home.

When leaving the house , offer pranam to him and leave it there only. If you want to use it in new house take a new one and put it there after performing pujan of it.

Bring it with you, it's YOUR luck! And hang it ends-up so the luck doesn't fall out! That's what I was told when I was a kid.
