Deleted meaning is removed; canceled.
Suspended meaning is hung; stopped for a period of time; postponed, deferred; made temporarily ineffective; temporarily debarred from an office or privilege, expelled.
So they should call (what ever they call) whether it is suspended or deleted - it is not the same

Joni you are smarter than some of the people that I have working for me. Yahoo! Police deleted my account, but yet I return unscathed as the same, one and only IamNotDonaldTrump.

Is yoor account actually removed?
I thought you received a suspension for "X" amount of days and then you could come back.
Your account is totally wiped out? That is scary

Semantics, dear. Semantics. The Yahoos want you to think there's a possibility you'll get your account back.

Cuz they want you to have nice "fuzzy" feelings about them kicking you off their sight. Thats why when they fire you at a job they say you are "terminated" rather than "fired." The bastards.

I have no clue. Maybe they're trying to be politically correct, or it's just to soften the blow, but either way, they're lyin' through their teeth...

Same reason they say "questioning detainees" instead of "torturing prisoners of war."
It sounds gentler.
