I used to work for a newspaper, what you need to do is call your local newspaper and ask to speak to someone in the "Legal Ads" department. They can tell you all the needed info and also give you copies of the paper. I believe that it needs to run in the paper a few times up to a couple of weeks in order to show the court that you made a valid attempt to get into contact with your soon to be ex. I would also speak to your lawyer because you might need to run the ad in the area that you live in and in the area of where she last (if its not the same area). Good luck!

Write it as if you are just writing to her and then submit it to the largest paper co. You might wanna say she is missing so they will actually put it in there. Are use the Pennysaver, Express or any smaller Newspaper because they are always looking for someone to put ads or anything in there. But best believe it is going to cost.

Attention (insert name):
We were married some years ago,
where you're at I don't know.
Far away, or in a ditch,
I want a divorce, you stupid B*tch.
If you see this, come to court;
I'll then give you a full report.
But if you don't, it's still a cinch;
at least you're gone, you little wench.

Dont' put in the paper. Consult an attorney and I think that if it's not contested then it could happen, but I think that it could take a few years. Again, talk to a lawyer and they should be able to spped up the process for you.
I wish you and your son luck and happiness in the future!

Your attorney should be able to advice you about this matter.If you do not have an attorney.Then you should contact the court that you filed your divorce in about this matter.They should be able to help you regarding this matter.

I believe that's those ads where it's said, you (full name) will no longer be responsible for her (full name)
However, I think it's more important to have a good attny in your corner to advise you precisely. Like they say, FREEDOM is NOT FREE.
