You can use a rolled up towel or some old foam from a pillow. Get some duct tape and attach this over the sharp corners of things like a coffee table corner etc.
Children's skulls are softer and more flexible than an adult just for this reason but, a serious fall could cause serious damage.

okay just so you know getting bumps and bruises are apart of growing up and learning. My son had a tonne while learning to walk and he still has lots from falling while running to fast. They are like lessons. My son doesnt run in the house anymore ever since he bumped into my wall unit.
If its corners of tables you are concerned about you can actually buy the corner bumpers (avaliable in most baby sections of stores). They are rubber but the only thing the stop is the splitting of skin...they dont stop the inevitable cry when they hit their head.
Dont sweat the small things..they are gonna fall and get hurt. Its all apart of life!!

well I remember seeing table corner covers at WalMart all the time, in the baby section with all the other baby safety gadgets.
You can also use something homemade. Get some heavy duty tape and a folded up face cloth, works great, not the most aesthetically pleasing, but whatever.

I've seen stick on pads at the hardware store before, in the child safety section.
But if they don't have those you could just use the felt pads that are used to stop furniture from scraping the floor. I can't guarante the glue won't damage your furniture, but it probably won't
