I try the dryer with a slightly damp cloth, it seems to work pretty good.

What I have done is: wash the pants by themselves with NO detergent and that seems to get rid of a lot of stuff.
A double rinse to be sure.
Masking tape will also remove lint.

I like the results of shaving the lint with a disposable shaver, an electric shaver or electric lint remover do a good job too.

Wrap a piece of masking tape or duck tape around your flat palm, sticky side out side that it encircles your hand and joins together, then with your palm flat, pat both sides of your hand onto item of clothing and it will pick up everything. You may need to use a few pieces but it works really well!

Throw or give the pants away. If they attract lint easily you will always be dealing with it.

The tape thing works, but in a pinch you can put on a rubber glove, get it just a bit wet, and wipe the pants with that.

first to prevent more lent from getting on those pants, wash them separately, there is no easy way to get the lent off. i have used the clear tape that one would use to mail packages. wrap around your fingers sticky side out and pat over pants.

use a piece of duct tape, sounds dumb, but it works, just tear off a pice and start blotting the pants with it using the sticky side of course, and it's strong enough to pull anything off of them...
