You did the right thing by calling the Doc. You need to drink A LOT more water. The doctor will test to see if you have an infection and if you do he will probably put you on some meds. It shouldn't affect the baby too much, other than the fact that you are stressed and that stresses the baby out! Also, if you are dehydrated that can really affect the baby! Drink, drink, drink water!

Bladder infections during pregnancy is very common. Dr. is the answer, he will know how to deal with it without harming the baby. These days were all a bite afraid of the side-effects on the baby but the Dr, will take care. Relax & have a healthy, happy baby.

It can be many types of infections like bladder, vaginitous, or a yeast infection.
I am so happy that you've made an appointment to see the doc. I hope that it passes and that you and the baby are OK esp the baby. I advise that you drink plenty of water and eat more fruits, veggies, fish, grains and less meat.

Of course- go to the doctor appt. whenever you made the appt. You can also drink some cranberry juice - helps with bladder/kidney infections. And you can also find a local herbalist maybe and they can inform you of natural herbs to take- that will not hurt your baby if you want an alt. rather then a prescription your doctor will more then likely give you.

Your doctor will most likely give you K-Flex. This is what I was given with both of my pregnancies when I had UTIs.
