Oh heck no I don't want a PS3. I've actually been quite happy with my PS1 for a while, and my only reason for wanting a PS2 now is FFXII. :)

eBay shows them going from $70-120 US

The eBay prices fluxuate a lot, because many PS2 sellers include games and extras with their consoles.

These are the Completed Listings. That means these items either are already sold, or ran out of time. The prices in green indicate the items which sold.

You can also buy them refurbished from http://www.gamestop.com for $100-120.

Dude its not worth selling because you will probably get $20 - $30 for it. (Maybe less) Its a rip off really. Your best "option" is to keep the PS2 slim and save it for later or something. The new PS3 slim are NOT backwards compatible. Some of the fat PS3s are (80 gigs play SOME but not all PS1 and PS2 games using emulation to play the game) 20 and 60 Gigs use hardware for playback. But to some it up, the PS3 playback compatibility is not that good. The quality of PS1 or PS2 games on the ps3 are distorted. And it really sucks for the original ps games. I played Final Fantasy 7 on the ps3 and lost the love for the game because it didn' t look the same.

ur best bet,if u are plan on getting a ps3,u should trade in ur ps2 4 the ps3 and pay the difference at ur local gameing store, people fail 2 realize that prices on new products like the ps3 don't come down 4 a long time.and being that the ps2 is basiclly outdated ur not gonna get a lot 4 it u'll have a better chance 2 sell it on the street
