I have a dentist friend. And although I have a good paying job, he was ahead of me in no time and right now, he's just plain wealthy - that's after like 10 years in the business. The secret is to have your own office or two. Go do it!

You are the only one who can answer that question. If it's something you're passionate about, then go for it. The amount of schooling it takes is beside the point because once school is over, being a dentist will pay off. Of couse, dentistry is a difficult field and you must plan to be the best of the best. Mediocre won't cut it - as a dentist, you'll have people's lives in your hand. If you're really doubting yourself, go for a program that you find more interesting. Remember - it's YOUR life. You might as well spend it doing something that you know you'll enjoy.

Good luck!

Dental college is very confusing, variety of like medical college. there's a large variety of terminology and sophisticated artwork. I even have had a hollow area drilled and that they actually do no longer harm that plenty, they are extra uncomfortable than something. i in my opinion appreciate 'solid' dentists and that i've got confidence human beings overall think of of dentists like they think of of physicians. in case you do no longer choose to bypass by each and all the education you're able to be a dental hygienist. The dental hygienist application is barely a pair of three hundred and sixty 5 days to a three hundred and sixty 5 days and a a million/2 to get experienced. although, dental college is plenty longer and in intensity.

Definitely, although you really need to have the mindset for it. Try orthodontia - one more year, but a pathway to bucks AND you get to work with kids AND you get to make people happy!!!
