Since you posted a link to your blog, here is a sample:
"Yesterday our dearly beloved Dubya made it clear that we will not be pulling out of this war until we get the job done! What is the job exactly again? To eliminate a dictator and destroy weapons of mass destruction right? Well so why don't we just hang Sadam already like the trial agreed upon and call it a day? 300,000 Iraqi's have died this month alone. Sparkign debates of just what is a civil war? "
This is not journalism. This is what real journalists call "punditry." Look up the word "pundit," and this should become clear.
Journalism requires an attempt at objectivity. It is not a soapbox for personal opinions, no matter how strongly you feel about an issue. True journalism presents both sides of any issue, and sides with neither.
News is a genre. It is very different from other styles of writing. To write news stories you must be able to:
1. Write in proper Associated Press style. If you're really interested, you can buy an AP Stylebook that will give you pointers. (Example: A real journalist would not refer to President Bush as "Dubya").
2. Spell things correctly. Contrary to your assertion, most journalists are good enough writers that they do not rely on spell check.
3. Write objectively.

No. You have a much too cavalier attitude, and your lack of spelling and grammar show you don't have much by way of building blocks.

If you can't spell the name of your intended career at this stage, no.
