So... there is this girl and she keeps sending me rude messages through my e-mail address.... and she keeps telling me that shes going to kill me and all this other krap. i was wondering what i could do so she will stop. im not scared its just getting annoying... the girl lived in Maryland and i am 100% sure she isnt going to come find me because i am... or was friends with her boyfriend. i dont know. its just to much unnessicary drama..... but do you have any ideas?

Man oh man whatever you do keep all of the emails. Save them just in case. You can go to the police station and make a police report. You have proof too. She lucky its not me lol I'd go to the state she lives in and make a report then I'd sue her for harassment & mental anguish.You will win the case. If you really want a case you can even start seeing a counselor, social worker, just to discuss how it makes you feel. remember if you are trying to have a case, don't volunteer anything that can be used against you. And always remember keep it simple. Don't talk to much in court say what is nessary " don't volunteer any info" and don't lie always be honest to the judge once the judge catch you in a lie they won't believe anything else you say period.

PS. If you can't afford the counselor i think the family court/prosecuter will give you info on how to see one.

The best thing to do is just get another email address, and keep it private (don't post it on the internet). If you really want to stop it, print out all the emails and either get a restraining order or no contact order. You might also file a complaint with your local police department -- I think terrorist threats are illegal everywhere, and this seems to qualify.

I've been down this road a few times now (long story short I have psycho jealous cousins) and the police will do nothing because it's the internet. You cannot prove it was really her because emails can be altered and hacked and such...
I was told to change my email and refuse to talk to anyone that is suspicious over the internet.
Sorry, but it's something you'll have to put up with...so just ignore it, it's very unlikely anyone who is that pathetic and sad that they have to threaten over the internet will actually do anything in real life....

All i will say is that you truly favor to save attempting and do not provide up. This woman sounds loopy to me and the flaws she is doing are very infantile...heck...they sound like issues human beings would do at my college. in any case enable the court comprehend whats happening and attempt your very perfect to get the police invovled. perchance attempt to communicate it by such as her in my opinion and ask whats bothering her. Cuz it sounds to me like something is both incorrect with this woman and she or he's mentally ill or she's afflicted by the particular incontrovertible actuality that ur with the guy that she's of direction nevertheless in love with. Anyone who makes claims to kill someone should be taken seriously. I would print the e-mails take them to the police immediately. If you are a minor you need to discuss this with your parents. Please do not take threats such as this lightly. There are people who do things we would never expect them to do everyday. You really should get the police involved. If she isn't serious, then this will scare her. If she is serious, she will be on notice.

Just call the police and file a report. That way, IF anything comes out of it, you'll have a history. It wouldn't hurt.

Just save all her e-mails into a private folder. After you have enough that demonstrate repeating and escalating harrassment, tell her you are going to the police.
If she doesn't stop, then go to the police.
What she is doing is not just immoral, it's illegal.

make copies of the e-mails and turn copies over to the police..and put a block on her e-mail address so she can't send anymore

Turn your bulk folder on and add her emails to it. That way the next time she sends you an email, it will go directly into your bulk folder and will automatically be deleted.
