Whats your happy place like?

When you are having a bad day, or trying to get to sleep, whats your happy place in your mind like?

Mine is in a beautiful forest on top of a mountain with water falls, big trees, rivers, flowers, greener than green bushes, views that i can see from miles away sun shining with a few clouds so its not too bright, friendly cuddly animals surronding me, kinda like snow white or something...lol, no im not on crack...OR floating on a cloud in the sky.

mine is a beach where the sand wavers from purple to blue with touches of red. the sky is warm and the clouds dance in it. the sun is pixelated and i sail through a blue jello sea in my newspaper boat while the suns rays warm my face. then as the sun dips behind a glorious landscape of fruit-filled hills and chocolate coated mountains the moon appears smiling and illuminates everything in way that can only be described as an inner glow. there i lay in my boat in the glowing jello sea staring at the stars thta move and dance for me. that is my happy place.

My happy place isn't filled with cotton clouds on which you can lay and dangle your feet. It's not blue mountains or orange skys. It's not a fireplace and wine and chocolate. It's not fluffy animals and sunny beaches.

My happy place doesn't have wars in it. It has no bombs exploding every minute and no people dying on the streets. My happy place doesn't have politicians fighting and thinking of their own interest. It is a peaceful place, where people feel safe and have their human rights protected. It's where kids grow to a bright future instead of a dark gloomy one. It's a place where there are no divisions and assassinations. It's a place where I'm free to have my own beliefs....

I see the ocean and a stretch of beach with a private pier. As I walk across the beach there are a few wooden steps leading up to a wide area left natural filled with all kinds of wild flowers and butterflies. There's a path of flagstones leading up to the house.

The house is made of logs and river stones. There are two huge windows in front one on either side of the double-Dutch doors centered in the middle of the house. There is a gentle slope leading up to the wooden porch that spans the width of the house. It has a roof but no enclosed sides on it only a wooden railing. There are comfortable wicker chairs and a sofa with brightly colored cushions strategically placed with useable tables. On the tables are the projects in various stages like plants being repotted or an oil painting or a crafting design made of sand, starfish and shells. There's a fat lazy cat lounging on one of the chairs. She doesn't even open her eyes when I come up the slope with my dog bouncing around me.

I go through the double doors and sit on the bench to remove my shoes and toss my sunglasses on the counter that divides the kitchen from the foyer. I glance around at the great room. My kitchen is to the right. My stove and sink are both in front of the huge window looking out at the water.

I look to the left at my living area. The leather couches and chairs look cozy and inviting.

The fireplace on the left made of river stone acts as a divider between the living and sleeping area. It opens on each side so that I can look into the flames and enjoy the heat from both areas.

As I walk towards the bathroom at the back of the house I am admiring the tall oak trees I can see through the huge windows at the back of my house and the purple mountains beyond.

I smile in pleasure, happiness and gratitude to God that if I can never have my ideal setting in real life at least He gave me the imagination to enjoy it in my dreams.

I don't do that. But the happiest place I have right now is my apartment. Since getting divorced this month and moving out. my apartment has become an oasis from the stresses of daily life.

I even bought myself a nice big bed to sleep in. It's so comfortable, I can barely get up!

You know how when it snows a lot at night, the sky gets all orangey,
I like that feeling, Looking outside at the orange night sky, the snow falling so gracefully. The night always looks peacefull and surreal like that. i imagine that in my mind, or I go and sit by awindow and look outside for a while when it snows.
It gives me the warm cozy feeling.

my having a pipe dream chuffed position is on my own inner most island, tanning contained in the solar sipping my well known beverages, move for a swim. in simple terms being chuffed. in certain situations it adjustments to winning the lottery, me in a posh mansion contained in the course of various of land, no neighbor in website. i will tan nude interior the front backyard and no plausible see me because of complete privateness. my own pool, warm bath, 4 wheelers, golf cart, something i want. Telling family contributors NO they could't have any of my money considering they have not talked to me or had something to do with me in years. the concept feels so sturdy. i like it to take position so undesirable. perhaps i will win the lottery and this is going to take position! imagine constructive.

I'm so glad you asked.... it changes. Some days it's a little cottage in a big wood. Other days, its a house boat (strange I know). But its always just.....quiet. Shhhhhh. It's the sound of silence.

mine is a planet millions of light years away from any planet with life...n ill have like one big star(among other stars) but it will still be dark...and ill be ALONE
