I feel like I was suppose to learn this in 8th grade, now I'm a fifth year undergrad and still confused, the equation I'm trying to flip is:

y=(1/sqrt(x)) * e^-x

Switch the sign on the x's.

y=(1/sqrt(-x))*e^x will flip that graph onto the other side of the y-axis. That is because the x's have an opposite sign on either side of the y-axis.

I would solve for x. Put the equation in terms of x and not y

How about if you change the sign on both instances of x.
