My truck has 6 lugs and I have purchased rims with 5 lugs and I wanted to know if it's possible to put the 5 lug on without an adapter

No possible way. I don't think there is an adapter for it either.

You cant be serious right? There is a reason they have a different number of holes in them. An adapter if they even make one for that reason would do no more than throw of the wheel base on the truck. Take the 5 hole back and get 6's
