All American Rejects, Fall Out Boy, etc. They all sound boring. Whatever happened to band names that actually sounded cool? When you hear names like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, or AC/DC, you know they are gonna rock!

Because like their names, these bands are boring!! They are also not original and therefore have not much creative ability! The good old days are gone!!!!!!!!

this is because emo music murdered creativity and free thought. It was a clever murder... but anyone that looks deep enough can see the truth. Bands today suck... only very few exceptions exist, but that all depends on your musical stlye. If you do however like a band like "panic at the disco" then i believe you need to reassess your outlook on life.

There is no originality anymore - music or names. There is also no musicianship needed to be in a band. It makes me sad that this is what music has come to.

well like those bands you mentioned are TERRIBLE. all these so-called rock bands suck, and their names suck. they're all emo.
they all want to sound cool and get attention with their names, like the new pornographers or my chemical romance

The cool ones have all been taken and since you can get taken to court if you have someone elses name, bands have to hire lawyers just to get their name checked out. It's a pain for everyone involved.
